Lake Life Cottages is seeking to fill the following positions to help us continue to meet and exceed the highest standards for guest satisfaction including cleanliness, product quality, and guest service. The ideal candidate will have education and/or experience in hospitality, will be positive, energetic, and enthusiastic to contribute hands-on in all aspects of our day-to-day operations, focused on excellent customer service and exceptional guest experience, and will be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Hospitality Intern I

The Hospitality Intern I position is a hands-on, seasonal role designed for sophomore or junior hospitality students looking to gain meaningful, real-world experience in luxury resort and event operations. 

This intern will support day-to-day guest services and event operations while working closely with our Innkeeper/Event Coordinator and Hospitality Intern I. While still a learning role, Intern I will take on increasing responsibility and be expected to contribute actively during our busiest summer months.

Hospitality Intern II

The Hospitality Intern II will shadow and support the Innkeeper/Event Coordinator at Lake Life Cottages and The Beach Barn, gaining hands-on experience in luxury resort operations and private event execution. This internship is designed for a senior hospitality student seeking real-world learning and professional growth, with the potential for a permanent role upon completion. 

During the peak season, the intern will be immersed in an active schedule as we host 17+ weekend weddings, alongside full resort guest operations. This is a working, hands-on role - not an observational internship.

This position is at a minimum May through October, including weekends for events, evenings to assist guests, and up to six working days per week. If extended beyond October, the workload is lower November through April with a more flexible schedule.
