Inaugural Event at the “Beach Barn” at Lake Life Cottages
On October 5th, 2023, we had the privilege of donating our venue the “Beach Barn” at Lake Life Cottages to the Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center (NMCAC) who hosted its inaugural fundraising event, "A Gathering of Friends". The event brought together community members to support the NMCAC's efforts to raise the $30,000 needed for renovation of their new space. At $100 per ticket NMCAC was able to raise $8,000 at the event leaving $22,000 left to raise.
This event not only showcased the beauty of the Beach Barn but also highlighted the incredible generosity and support of our community. The success of this event reaffirmed the community's unwavering support for the NMCAC's mission. From generous donations to active participation, each attendee played a crucial role in making a profound impact on the lives of those affected by child abuse.
