Our cottages feel like a home away from home, each with a full-kitchen, beautiful decor, luxury appointments, and a beautiful view of the bay. And our event center, The Beach Barn™, is the perfect, picturesque, water-front venue for weddings, reunions, charity events, and more.

Our Cottages

Available for nightly rental, our luxury boutique cottages are a level-up, each uniquely decorated, each with a beautiful Great Lakes view, and each with a stylish, modern, all-electric kitchen, living-room, separate bedroom, luxury bathroom, and dedicated central air conditioning.

Every cottage offers the luxury of bespoke decor, quality furniture, the comfort of queen-sized beds with memory foam, complete with luxury bedding, plus spacious bathrooms with tiled showers, complete with luxury bath linens.

Each cottage also includes a large, flat-screen TV, dishes, silverware, cookware, Keurig coffee maker, and free, fast Wi-Fi.

Our Event Venue

The Beach Barn at Lake Life Cottages™ is a tastefully and elegantly decorated venue for events ranging from business meetings to weddings and receptions, engagement parties, family reunions, birthday parties, and baby or bridal showers.

Outdoor lighted patio for evening cocktail hour and dancing

Our Concept

We love Tawas Bay, the twin cities of East Tawas and Tawas City, the beaches, shops, restaurants, the ice cream stores, parks, boating facilities, the lighthouse, and everything nearby.

We found this beautiful, waterfront property and knew it would be a great way to share Tawas. So we decided to create a venue where each guest has a place that feels like home. Lake Life Cottages: we’ve taken the old school motel concept and reinvented it for today’s traveller.
